Seems to be a sound idea. I normally use leather work gloves. I've cut the fingers and thumbs at the first knuckle. I also use the top portion of old sport socks (washed & clean of course) with a thumb hole as a pad, then the leather gloves over the socks, they absorb any moisture. Seems to work for me and have used the same gloves for a few years. Take care.

i've been using gloves for a while and they are fine at protecting my hands. Particularly on curls though I lose the grip before my biceps are fatigued and wondered if this might help.

Looks like they might. Guy at my gym was using them for the 1st time the other day, he wanted to have their babies.
