Body development question
I was just wondering at what age the average body begins to 'fill out'? - by that i mean natural growth in arms, chest, legs etc regardless of weight training, diet etc. I'm talking complete natural growth of muscles.
I'm 18 years old and just wondering if my muscles will naturally strengthen and increase in size without the use of weights and at what age does this kiss off. Cheers |

I bike to work.

Genetics, I think, plays a huge part in this one.
I'm 25, skinny entire life even now, and didn't start filling until I started lifting weights regularly. My brother is 21, skinny until he hit puberty, then got naturally bulky. |

Use of weights, especially at your age, will greatly accelerate your fill out if you are a late developer. I didn't really fill out more till around 20, and then got into the weights. If you are naturally skinny, and dont work out, you'll be skinny. Get onto the weights champ, and start eating good clean food, not just lots of shit food. Read the diet and nutrition section stickies.
