If your strength increases while you're cutting; is that an indicator that you're doing everything right? I seem to be able to handle more weight and my breaks between the sets are shorter now.
You see, I'm still curious. Is it possible that the strength increases I'm experiencing are neurological? I'm really trying to hang on to every bit of muscle that I have. Could I still techinically be losing muscle as I'm getting stronger? I do heavy lifts Max-OT style...6-8 sets per muscle group, 4-6 rep range, one muscle group per workout. Cardio is strictly limited to 1 session per week...

Yes, they could be improvements in neuromuscular efficiency. It is also possible you are gaining muscle, but it's not very likely.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
