    Clean and press

    when i clean and press do I clean it straight from the floor or do it hanging. I was taught to do it hanging. is this better or worse or neither. thanks.

    umm i would appreciate helpful insight.I have seen both done. I want to know what is recommended.

    What is the desired effect you seek from performing this exercise?

    Do it from the hang, then. No reason to do it from the floor if you aren't competing in the O-Lifts.
    If sense were common, everyone would have it.
