I am starting a heavy weight loss routine, but I definitely need to be working out as well. I dont have a gym membership, and I work alot and im going away for the summer so a membership is kinda a waste of money.
My question is, what can I do to gain muscle and get a GOOD workout with just a swiss ball, 2 10 lb weights and an ez bar with about 35 lbs? I have a large basement, And i have room for some equipment. Is there anything i can buy (not too expensive) that caN REALLY be beneficial and help me put on muscle without going all out? Or what is a good body weight routine that I could do to get real results (along with cardio).
I am 225 lbs and I am already fairly built, but i dont want to lose muscle from a heavy cardio routine. Can you guys be specific with some routines/equipment/advice? I really need to get it going.
A bench with an Olympic barbell and some plates. Dumbbell handles that can utilize Olympic plates along with some extra 10 pounders to use with those would be a great investment. If you could swing getting a squat rack, you'd have almost everything I use when I workout minus the cable stuff. A pullup bar is a nice cheap addition too.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
