How do I lose fat in my thighs?

    Hello,

I am a male but believe it or not I have some access fat in my thigh area. I am skinny in most places except my thighs, but, and upper legs. How do I get rid of it?
Also, what are the best weight lifting exercises that will help tone the thighs and get rid of the access bulge?

    Thanks ;o)

    Diet.

You can't 'spot reduce' - that is, you cannot simply work a certain area and target fat loss in that particular area.

You can, however, increase your metabolism and lose body fat by getting your diet straight and weight lifting. You'll get more toned everywhere, including your legs.

    Read the stickies.

Specific thigh exercises are not going to make you lose weight specifically around the thighs. It just doesn't work like that.

#1 is going to be getting your diet straight (read the stickies in diet section)

Your workout should be like everyone else's... focused on large compound muscle exercises (bench, rows, squats, dead lifts, etc)

As was pointed out you cannot spot reduce fat. However, to answer this question: squats (any kind of squat - front, back, hack, zerker, etc.).
