video of Dan John teaching squats

This may have been posted before.... but I haven't seen it and it really opened my eyes up about quite a number of things, in fact I'm going to go back to an unloaded bar and straighten some things out... have a watch:

what cause he's got a spare tire? I believe he burned that off with the velocity diet a while back.

He's got a 600lb dead and you can just tell he can teach (at least that's how it looks to me), I think it's worth the hour watch.

I watched... I learned.

So is there basically no place for squatting with a narrow stance or what?

I think it depends on the squat you're doing and what you hope to accomplish. If you watch Dr Fed he doesn't open up his hips nor would he try to since that weight would bury him if he did (I imagine)

versus the ungodly weight Rezazadeh is doing, he has to open up and get low to complete his lift. Different styles.

Great video. Haven't watched it all yet, but its already given me a couple of tricks to use with people who can't get the squat down.

Hah, I spotted one of my coworkers in that video. It's funny though, because he had already showed me some of this stuff after attending this seminar. Weirdness!
