    been working out..veins now

im a skinny guy and been working out for a few yrs now. i lift heavy (as i can go) but iv noticed that my veins are bulging out, excessively..to the point where i dont want to wear short sleeve shirts. some guys were expressing their envy for it which really grossed me out. am i doing something wrong during workouts? iim sure its genetic and unavoidable but im getting grossed out with it. or is it a good thing, people like it??

    thanks
(sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in)

All you can do is gain fat. Nothing else. Don't worry about it.

I suppose if you put on weight (ie:fat) that you wouldn't see your veins as much. I'm just spitballing though.

What matters most is that you like the way you look. If people thought it was the hottest thing ever for you to shave your head, but you hated it then what purpose does it serve? Make yourself happy, thats what matters.
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

I guess it really depends on which vein is sticking out, huh? Just kidding. I think they are great. A sign that you really have put in the hours and dedication needed to get it done. Do you think the joe punch clock office worker is jealous of that vein? Your damn right he is becasue he knows he does not have what it takes to pack the gear and make it happen like you do. Embrace it man and show them off!!

Good work man. Most chicks dig it. Get some more bodyfat (eat more) and it will smooth them over a bit.

    Veins? From working out?

If you're not careful, you may also lose fat and gain muscle. Yeah, I know that these side affects are harsh, but that's the chance you take when you weight train...

Come on, short of giving up weight training, there's nothing that he can do about it.

Plus, most of the guys on IM would give the eye-teeth to have great vascularity. He's bitching about that which so many others aspire to.

I'm surprised no one responded this to the OP about his veins, so I will.

    Prove it!

No he was feeling self conscious about it and thought that guys were bullshitting him when they said they were jealous.

Personally I like having veins. The only time I think it looks funny is when a guy is 6 1/2 foot tall and about 140 pounds and has all kinds of veins.

Well then, he's going to just hate it when they compliment him on his muscle...

I remember when my bicep vein popped out LOL! probably top ten moments of my life up there with sex.

I would love to have veins coming out of every single body part in my body, I don't see why you don't like it man.

I got a huge on popping out on the front bottom part of my leg. It freaked me out last month because I never really noticed it before.
