    squats??????

hi all just a quicky, when doing suats is it a must to go to parrallel or below, ive been training for a few months now and making good gains, lost 40 lbs, and toned up well, specialy my chest and quads, but i dont squat right down to parrallel, i stop about 2 inches above parrallel, im 5ft 11inches so im not exactly a short ass but im no giant either, is stopping a couple of inches higher then parrallel ok, i dont go down anyfurther because it realy throws my ballance off, any advice please,

ps, im not after competing in powerlifting or anything so have no reason for depth of squat because of rules,

I have been squatting for over a year but did not go deep enough until I saw the video. It has helped me tremendously. Great stuff.
