    Cardio before or after workout

My current training regime is the following:

    SATURDAY - BACK
    SUNDAY - CHEST
    MONDAY - TRICEPS/DELTS/FOREARMS
    TUESDAY - REST DAY
    WENESDAY - LEGS
    THURSDAY - BICEPS/FOREARMS
    FRIDAY - REST DAY

Each day I do a complete core workout followed by HIT cardio.

My question is will doing cardio post-workout be detrimental to muscle growth along with core workout?

    Thanks.

    1) read the stickes. your program is not really optimal.

    2) when to do cardio is totally dependant on goals.

In my opinion, unless you are participating in a sport where conditioning is of prime importance, cardio should be done after resistance training. This is because it has been shown that participating in endurance exercises reduces strength for up to 8 hours after you finish the workout. Therefore, if your goal is muscle growth as you have indicated, I would definitely perform the cardio post-workout.

I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

Read the stickies. You're overtraining and need some help in balancing your program out I think.
