    How much cardio?

Ok I'm doing a 5 day split and i'm eating low carb and healthy. I'm doing like 30 min on the eliptical after every workout and everyday. is that too much i'm trying to loose 10 to 20 pounds of fat. i quit a lifestyle of drinking and eating garbage and i'm also taking hydroxycut hardcore and cell mass. i'm still fuzzy about carb cycling and all that but ANY tips on weight loss would be great! thanks oh and can someone talk about hiit and interval training fuzzy on that too. I work construction and stay pretty active how long do you think it will take to get ripped?

Doing cardio 5 days per week is great for health. However, I think that if you want to optimize fat loss you should incorporate interval training. The frequency, intensity and duration are going to depend on your resistance training split.

Also, counting calories is going to optimize weight loss and allow for fine tuning of your diet when adjustments need to be made. It will also help you identify what works and what doesn't.

We can't estimate how long it will take if we don't know how much you need to lose. Do you have a baseline bodyweight and body fat measurement, and a goal body fat you would like to achieve?
