    Training legs with upper body

I'm adjusting my training split a little and toying with the idea of working legs with my upper body push muscles.

Problem is, I am WIPED after doing legs. Anyone manage to train legs with upper body? If so, how do you manage it?

    Thanks

    i train total body.

you manage it a few ways:

    a) you adapt after awhile.

    b) you prioritize what you are going to work on.......legs heavy/upper for reps, next workout is upper heavy/legs for reps.

Dont just work legs with your upper push either.

Split legs up into push + pull aswell, and group them with their opposite upper body movements.

Thatd make it a tad more managable.

Full body is hard going, dont get me wrong, but the results outweigh the initial hard work.

P-Funk, how often do you train your entire body? Is there a link on this site where you give a sample of your workouts?

    thanks.

Its not that bad because you wont be doing a big crazy leg workout as it will be split up. Its actually easier than doing a full nasty leg workout.

For awhile I was doing 4 total body workouts a week. Now I am only doing 3.

My blog (feb. and march) I made lots of entries on how to set up training. Also, my journal has all my workouts.
