from time to time, I'd say yes. However it shouldnt certainly be the end all be of indicators.
I know some people think that DOMS doesnt mean anything really but, Isnt it slight muscle damage (micro tears) that happens with DOMS. And isnt that part of building muscle when , if you have enough protein, that will help repair those muscle tears. So the question is. Shouldnt DOMS be a good thing from time to time. just a question.

Most people will tell you that you can't judge your workouts by the DOMS. I don't buy into that. If I half-ass a workout, I don't get any DOMS. If I put my all into, I get the DOMS.
DOMS isn't the be-all, end-all of workout, and you certainly can't use it to judge the effectiveness of the workout; but you can't ignore it either.
"I know some people think that DOMS doesnt mean anything"
That hurt man. Really uncalled for.![]()
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.

DOMS are fine. If you don't get them it MAY be an indicator that you have been doing something too long and you need to switch some variables up. However a primary indictator should be a halt of progression in what you are seeking, so as long as you know how that is going, worrying about DOMS is pretty much worthless.
I'm not worrying about DOMS. Every day I go to the gym I feel I put 100% effort into the workout. We hav switched it up a little for a month and doing more reps with slightly lighter weights , but going to muscle fatigue and no more than 15 reps. I'm kinda wondering about this training. I am used to heavy weights all the time, and no more than 8 to 10 reps 3 sets. What do you guys think.
