    symetry.....

Ok I have been working out for a while and getting decent gains but....

My biceps are developing differently. The left bicep has a decent peak while the right bicep barely has a peak but is wider... I have tried doing close grip and wide grip curls with the easy bar and tried focusing on turning my right wrist to the inside forcing my bicep to peak but still getting little response in this matter.

When doing concetration curls I try to focus on working the peak with my right arm while just doing the motion with my left...

Anyway I feel like I have tried everything and am getting frustrated with it. Anyone else have similar issues, advice or able to point me in the direction to fixing this would be much appreciated.

    thx

I was hoping that it was just a form issue that I am missing. What is wierd is that I am right handed but my left bicep/arm is stronger and growing better. I even feel like the tri is developing better but it's not as obvious as the bi.

I am really hoping that it's not genetic for me to have a gimp arm while the other one grows as I want instead of it just being a problem with form or something. I try to hold the weight at every angle doing w/e appears to cause the peak to come up.....

could you give examples of "unilateral work" I'm still pretty new at this.

Unilateral work is simply the opposite of bilateral work. Bilateral means you're using two limbs, while unilateral means you're only using one limb.

    Bentover barbell rows: bilateral
    Dumbell rows: unilateral

Every program needs a fair share of both bilateral and unilateral work, so mix things up. Don't forget unilateral work for your legs.
