I love them and do them weighted. Wide grip is much tougher than Narrow grip.

I think they are fine, I don't do them because they bother my shoulder.

Vince Gironda hated weighted dips, he thought they were begging for injury and one time pulled a guy's pants down while he was donig them in his gym.

I love dips (weighted)! Unfortunately, my shoulder joint got messed up doing the bench press, and dips seem to aggravate the problem. So I dont do them anymore

I used to love doing dips but after hurting my shoulder I haven't done them in months. Don't think i'll ever be doing them again, they aggravate my shoulder injury terribly.

I love doing them but I control the intensity through RI and rep timings. I'll never hang weights on myself for it though.

I think weighted dips (going too deep) is partly what has landed me in rehab for my shoulder. For me (only) they're out of the lineup, forever.

I like them but since I hurt my shoulder, I use less weight and concentrate on
form. 8 seconds down, no pause, 8 seconds up. |

How does one not have the equipment to dip? I could dip using my toilet and my foot stool.

He just doesnt have legs.
I like dips. I can do some crazy weight too. However, if I ever had a problem with my shoulders from doing them, I wouldnt be so sad to say goodbye to them. Its not like giving up bench pressing or.... squats.

Nazo: Oh, yes. They make terrific pair. They went together like lamb and tuna fish.
Tommy: Lamb and tuna fish? Nazo: Maybe you like spaghetti and meatball? You more comfortable with that analogy? Homeless Guy: Yes, considering we're in America. I mean, if you don't like spaghetti and meatballs, why don't you get the hell out? |
