Didn't it say 8 sets, 3 reps for Bench and OH BB Press?
If so, for a beginner I'd switch that around. 3 sets of 8 reps. |

I think overall the exercise selection is decent, but as a beginner I wouldn't be using my 5RM. That's just overkill. You'll get great results using lower intensity weights while building up connective tissue strength and honing in on good form.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
