Can I do deadlift on back days?

I'm looking for better improvement in my back, and I've never done traditional deads before. Good idea or no?

You can do them on Back Day, Upper Body Pull Day, Lower Body Pull Day, Leg Day, Upper Day...

In my opinion theyre more of a leg movement because of the heavy ham/hip work going on when you do them.

To be honest though, theyre such an awesome exercise that as long as you're including them in your program you can put them on Arm Day, Foot Day or Belly Button Day and i'd be happy.

I do them on Back day, I feel that they are more of a back exercise then leg. But yeah, as long as you do them I don't think it really matters what day.

They're definitely a leg exercise. If you feel they're a back exercise, you're simply doing them wrong.

You could put rack pulls on back day I guess.

I have just always thought of deads as a back exercise, but of course they work the legs, and basically the whole body. I have real good form on deads, I'm not doing them wrong!...

I'll usually perform deadlifts on my back days. If I am going to perform a type of deads on leg day, I'll do SLDL's or Romanians.

It all depends on what kind of deadlift you do, deadlifts I feel work the back, but roman deadlifts work the legs more

"Lift big, eat big, rest big"
"Rome wasnt built in a day"
"Go heavy or go home."
