workout schedule...
i've noticed how pretty much every workout routine thread suggests 5 days working out, and 2 days resting. does it matter how many days i rest? i've been working out 6-7 days a week....

7 days a week with resistance training is overkill. So can you? Yes, but why would you? You would benefit more from a 3-4 days a week scheledule. Now if you are meaning resistance training for 4 days and cardiovascular training for 3 days, then that would be ok, but most people can really benefit from that day off!

i'm trying to put on weight at the same time so i don't really do any cardio right now. although i need to. i just figured 7 days a week insured that no matter what i couldn't go backwards. but i see your point |

You dont grow in the gym you tear muscles down in the gym. You grow out of the gym! You want to increase size, eat, eat, eat!
