lol. Not sure, but I think its to define your chest so it gives it some importance.

If they do put on size I don't think it's going to be nearly as much as benching. I'm seriously considering tossing them except for once in awhile.

I used to do a lot of benching and flyes with minimal triceps work, now my chest is bigger than the rest of me.

I dont think there any substiute for a compound movement like flat bench/incline bench. However if your looking to change your routine a bit and add some isolation I think they can be quite good.

They are good for a nice stretch of the chest, thats about it

They are not good for developing anything. They are good for stretching the pectorals, thats it. Theres a limited amount of resistance and a limited ROM.

-There is not a limited ROM...it's huge.
- A huge weight is not necessary for hypertrophy
- An exercise the stretched muscle is one thats about to do some work...if there's some weight.
