broke pr and hit goal today...

dont know if anyone remembers... a few months ago i was stuck at a 190 bench and my goal was 225 by august. I strained my rotator cuff, so was set back there. i took some time off of all movements but skulls, curls, and cable rows. slowly i began to incorporate db and barbell presses again and then bent rows, etc... i also started monitering my calories and went from circa 1500 a day to 3000 (6 meals a day with lots of oats, meats, and veggies) finally, i just started benching again a few weeks ago maybe a month... after feeling pretty comfortable today, i shot for 205 and made it initially. it felt a bit light so i thought what the hell ... tried for and hit 225 w/o any assistance. ps i just typed this out for my own benefit. i know its not nearly as exciting for anyone else thanks for reading and thanks to everyone who helped me get my lifting/diet situation sorted out!

Congrats, and good on ya for pushing past injury to reach your goals.
I do my best to focus on the task at hand, and give 100% in what I'm doing at the time. Nothing else matters except the task at hand.

    Congrats man.

It's a really good feeling, when you first put those 2 45's on each side isn't it?
