Abs question

Hello,

I am skinny all over except my stomach area protrudes out a little too far. I jog all the time and have a very physically demanding job, yet it is taking forever to lose any fat in that area.

So, I am wondering if I need to start doing sit-ups and other ab exercises in order to "pull in" the stomach? I know we cannot spot reduce for loosing fat. I really don't think I have very much fat, just weak muscles in that area. I am wondering if I did a lot of crunches and other ab exercises if that will pull the stomach in so it will look flatter? Right now it protrudes out like I am a few months pregnant. It's weird!

Thanks for your help!!!!

situps probably arent enough, beer can give u pretty good gut. Your diets probably way off track. Crunches mighy help weighted crunches will help more.

You answered your own question. It isn't fat, it's intestines. All you can do is suck it in.

eww. My father gets that same thing. .. and he's an ex- national /world class althlete! Maybe it's more what's inn your intestines than your actual intestines themselves??.. try to incorperate more produce in your diet and less crap food and drink more water and milk and juices and see if that makes a difference. It just sounds to me that youre clooged up and not digesting and eliminating stuff properly...which kiind of messes with your metabolism aswell. Trying to choose better quality foods and meaning you eat less to feel more physcially satisfied and can actually digest and eliminate waste from those foods might be an idea for you to consider .
if you do that - you'll probbably find an ab workout more comfortable and effective anyway.

Breakfast - Two raisin (or 1 grape green/or purple if purple remove the skin)
Then 500 crunches

Before you go to bed - Half a raisin (or small bite out of a grape/see above if purple) & teaspoon of sea salt

1000 crunches - before u sleep

Good Luck

All jokes aside about the constant "ab" questions etc etc, I think this must be one of the most annoying things to have to deal with about your physique particularly if your a beginer (which in most cases you would be in this situation) I mean, by the sounds of it you've got very little muscle mass and your very thin, but at the same time you still have a gut! People are therefore too scared to go on a bulk and increase the size of their gut, and cutting is pretty much out the question since the last thing you wanna do is get any thinner!

Just my two cents.

I know a guy at my work who is like that. skinny asss dude who looks pregnant lol. the funny thing is, its like, rock hard. Guys a biiiiig drinker tho so i think that accouns for that. lol im no ab expert, but what i would do is smoe light cardio, eat a cleaner and stricter diet (consult the stickies) and do ab exercises. If that doesnt help you out, may god have mercy on your soul. lol jj dude. it could be worse; you could be dead. think about it.
