Question Elbow problem

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS

I feel that one of my weak point is with my elbows. In exercises like tricep pushdown, bench flyes and presses, often time I feel taking much burden on my elbows, thus giving me elbow discomfort for a day or two after the workout day. For instance, just yesterday I did bench dips. I felt fine when doing it, but today I feel soreness with my triceps, but only on the lower part right above the elbow. Anybody has any advise on this? Thanks.

- Josh

I don't have pain, but I have a funny 'click' in my left elbow when I close my arm like on the bottom of a nose-buster. I sometimes use a wider grip, but generally I just go slowly and right before I reach this wierd spot where my elbow seems to have a problem (what it is I have no idea).

I dont imagine your going too fast are you? Are you warming up the joints?

I don't think I'm going fast in my reps. How do you warm up your joints? I always do standard warmups before doing any workout session, but I though (and I feel) they affect the muscles, not joints.

I always make sure that my body is physically warm before I go in, so I usually wear like a sweat-jacket until I start to sweat (some people will wear it while sweating still, so long as my joints are warm I'm happy). I also make sure to do nice slow warmup sets.

Are you intaking enough water?

Hopefully someone else will have further ideas.

Hmm, wearing jacket to warm up the body is new to me, I've never done this and never seen anybody done this in my gym as well. I may try this later, hopefully ít doesn't make me look silly

I think I drink enough water; I keep drinking throughout my session, sometimes between sets, but mostly between exercises. But would water consumption help with my elbows?

Supposedly .66 x bodyweight (pounds) = ounces

Water is needed for lubrication throughout the body.
