I'm new to this site and was looking for advise on getting my abs more toned.I started at a gym in Dec 2000 and have noticed toning everywhere but. Some people say you can do hundreds of situps a day but you be wasting your time it all comes down to cardio and your body and overall fat loss.I go to the gym 5 times a week and do cardio for 30 to 40 mins each time,I'm 154cm tall and weigh 60kg,any advise would be appreciated

You got it.....it comes down to your diet!! You need to look hard at your diet and see what your eating! That will make the difference!

what time do you do your cardio... if you're not too concerned about bulking you can do 2 30 min cardio sessions one in the morning and one in the aftenoon/evening.. it will help a good deal with fat loss

again if youre not concerned with buliking you can drop a LOT of you carbs and almost no sugar... somebody had a post before about how the lost 20+ pounds on a no sugar diet(over good a period of time) if youre concerned with bulking i dont think you should drop too much of this because they provide things for muscles like energy

If you already haven't, chedk out the nutrition board J-Lee, you can do all the cardio you want but if your not eating right or enough then its not going to matter.

    Welcome to IM J-Lee!!
