    Shoulder width

To make my shoulders seem wider do i have to work my lateral deltoids or will working my anterior do it too?

I ask because I am doing seated barbell shoulder presses at the moment and I haven't noticed my shoulders getting wider (like broad shoulders) but they are getting bigger in general. My understanding is that barbell shoulder presses work mostly the anterior.

    Or maybe im just crazy.

Work your entire body incl. all of your shoulders.

Aside from actually putting on mass on your medial deltoids and keeping proper posture, there really is nothing you can do to broaden your shoulders. Dropping waist size and adding muscle mass everywhere will help with the illusion though.
