Barbell Shoulder press?

I usually get it to touch my upper chest... is that too far.. should i just go to under my chin? |

I think just under the chin is fine - I find any lower than that feels like 'stress' but I'm not the most flexible person in the world. I think you look at a machine equivalent - if you drew a line across from grip to grip, you wouldnt see it much lower than the chin.

As low down as is comfortable and doesnt compromise form, while keeping an effective ROM.

It depends, sometimes I go to my upper chest then there are times I lower it to my chin.
It all depends on how much my elbows ache. |
