cardio/workout/diet...PLEASE help!
Hello I'm trying to cut fat so I've been doing cardio 4 day/week running 3 miles each day. I run 1st thing in the morning w/o eating before running. I am not fat at all, I have a little bit of a gut but can still see my abs. So I'm also working out at nights..I'm doing the 5 day working each muscle group in day:
Mon-chest Tues-arms, bis, tris Wed-back Thurs-shoulders Fri-legs 1) I'm trying to eat 5 meals per day to diet, but what exactly should I be eating for these meals? 2) How can I cut my stomach, but still eat right to build muscle, w/o doing too much cardio that I won't be able to build? Thanks in advance & yes I have read some stickies, please help!!! |

body part splits is a very good way to overtrain, and if you start doing that you wont see any gains. from what I read on here, in a cutting cycle a full body workout 2-3 times a week is decent for a cut.
as for the diet, post it in the diet section. to lose weight without much cardio you have to be in a high caloric deficit, and to gain weight a caloric surplus, so you can't really do both at the same time. thats just my 2 cents. ..I think I'm in too far over my head, lol. |
