Sleep vs Eating
Ok i know sleep is important to gains, but eating is also important to gains. My issue is that I get hungry during the night and wake up and it takes me about an hour to get back to sleep.
I try not to pack in a massive meal but i do eat a normal sized (800cal due to bulking) meal just before i go to bed. Should i try to eat more so i dont wake up? or should just keep doing this? I figure eating in the middle of the night is good too. I guess sleep eating would be awesome but i dont know how to train that :P |

I still wake up often to eat during the night myself. It's been discussed here before though. Before you go to bed try to get a good protein source in ..casein from cottage cheese seemed to be a popular suggestion. I usually wake up at 4:30 am to start working out for as many as hrs as I can swing ( 1 1/2 - 2 - 2 1/2 ish normally) and I find if I don't eat during the night and do at least several glasses of milk or protein or whatever fluid and a small high gi carb, I just gas nxt morning.
I get calory control though, it's half an issue of myy own . Do eat something . Try a protein shake and force a lt at least of glucy fluids down with a small carb before you sleep for a low cal satisfying and efficient choice.. you're obviously needing it . If you have to wake up and do it, don't worry tooo much because as long as youre servicing your body, you'll probably be better off than not. . and if you can sleep right through - well even better. |

What are you eating before bed? 800kcal is one big fucking meal. |

and clearly if you're getting hunrgy , you don't have enough protein in that meal.. it takes 8 -10 hrs to naturally break that down .. what exactly arre you eating then?? Nice pick up Witchblade.
