    Jogging and the CNS

I would like to know how hard on the CNS is jogging for 20-45 minutes?

I am currently lifting weights 3x per week on something very similar to the simple power based routine.

Id like to improve my heart/lung fitness and have always enjoyed jogging as my form of cardio. Id like to jog 2-3x per week on top of my 3x per week lifting.

Is jogging hard on the CNS in the same way that lifting weights is?

    THX!

Steady state cardio has a low CNS fatigue rate.

Exactly. The second method you mentioned, which is called interval training, can produce a significant amount of CNS fatigue.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    Aha!

Does that mean explosive sports hit the CNS hard?(Start/Stop/Hard Cardio kinda Sports)

So does that mean: An explosive sport, Plus Heavy Weight Training to failiure = knackered CNS?
