Love handles, how to burn em off

I havent payed much attention to cardio over the summer and with work picking up ive gained a few pounds, err 7. I really want to cut this off as fast as possible. I never gained weight here in the past just looking for some exercises that target this area directly.

    TIA

You can't target specific areas to expend fat energy. It is expended throughout your entire body when exercising. Where it expends more than others is determined by your genetics.

Your diet will set you free.

I hate exercise, I love training.

Here is the order I would go in:

Step 1: Start lifting weights 3-4 times per week.
Step 2: Start cleaning up your diet, and preferably start counting calories.
Step 3: Start doing cardiovascular exercise. Initially, aerobic exercise will be good for building a conditioning base. Once you advance, some combination of interval training and higher intensity aerobic exercise is a good way to go.
Step 4: Increase activity levels throughout the day. Use public transportation, walk to the store (Or just go for walks!), garden, participate in recreational activity, etc.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    Last on is first off

Sounds like that was the latest addition to your fat reserves. If it was it will be the first to go when you lose weight.
