I am skeptical of online programs and just using some cookie cutter approach. You need to find someone in your area that can assess you and give you something specific.
san diego. you know any good trainers in the area?
I work at the YMCA and I'm thinking about trying out some sessions with the trainers there. They say they do sport specific stuff...but from watching them work with other people, I'm not too sure about them. Plus, it's literally like $25 for an hour long session, which I'm skeptical about...other places are far more than that...I'd rather spend more and get great feedback ecause I'm really serious about what I want to do
I would get in touch with Duncan Donuts. he is about an hour from San Diego. Even if you just go up there once a week to meet with him, he should be able to put you on the right path.
funny you should mention that because I pm'd him about five minutes before you posted that. he said a few days ago he'd meet with me when he comes down to san diego.
