    Leg DOMS

Okay, so in all my programs I have one scheduled legs day, and only one because I do quite a bit of running/high intensity cardio along with that.

Every week after my legs day, it goes like this:

the day of training, I feel really good right after my workout, and my legs continue to feel pretty good throughout the day. They feel worked, but are still loose/not sore.

The day after training, I feel moderately sore. Nothing bad.

Two days after training (today) I feel my legs got run over by a fucking train. Hurts to walk, stairs are brutal, etc. Not just a stiff-sore...we're talking significant pain...sometimes lasts through the third day after (tomorrow) as well.

Is this normal for the soreness to kick in stronger like this?

In addition to the lift, I do a little bit of cardio (30-35 min, moderate intensity, low-impact like elliptocal machines) on the day after training...not the day of, and not two days after because I'm always too sore on that day to do it...even if I skip the day-after cardio.

I also stretch immediately after my workout, later on that day, the next morning, and after I do my day-after cardio...in case you were wondering.

Anything I can do to alleviate any of this?? More stretching?? Hot tubs? Contrast showers/baths?

Its normal. Unless you cant walk. I get sore on the 2ND day after training just like you. I dont know why its delayed as much than an upper body workout, but on the 3rd day, if its another leg day, I can push through it.

You shouldn't be that sore. I hardly get sore anymore.

I'll write an entry about it in the FAQ right now.

Ok, guess I'm not going to. Got a bit caught up reading some other posts and now I'm out of time. Sorry about that.

I'll definitely write some more entries for the FAQ though this vacation.
