look at your calories and make sure that you have not dropped them to much right off the start.

look at what your eating around your workout to make sure you are adequatly fueld.

I just started to get dizzy after 3 weeks of cutting. Ive decided to add a couple more calories.

When I plug in my daily journals at fitday.com, I notice a lot of my calories come from fats. The percentages of the fat and carbs are usually equal! I hover around 2500 with a dizzying effect, so I figure I am going to have to add carbs in there. I cant believe id have this much problem with carbs...

    Theres always fruit... :BigDyl:

i almost pass out when i work out after certain exercises. during intense anaerobic exercise this may be because of sudden bouts of low blood sugar.

Agreed! There is no reason to feel dizzy EVER while cutting. Dizziness is a good indication that your diet plan sucks ass.

Ever? I disagree. Its too much of a black & white statement. On a bulk, I can deadlift with high intensity with short RIs and I might have a dizzy spell for a second, so am I suppose to panic cuz of that second?

I dont know HOW dizzy the thread starter gets, but my dizzy feeling could come from low blood sugar like Duncans said since my carbs are too low. That, for me, is proof that my diet needs a lil adjustment. However, my dizziness is just a spell, not a 'spill.'

    But ever? No way.

dizzy means eat more. and don't just count calories eat what your body needs in order to do what you're asking it to do.

Akira is talking about a different type of dizzy i think.

you don't get what you wish for ~ you get what you work for

Did you not read the original question? By your response, my guess is No, you didn't. She is cutting not bulking and she said during cardio, not high intensity lifting.

Also, if your blood sugar is too low, then again, your diet sucks ass!

lol indeed. some of the workouts i perform in a very high intense fashion leave me so exhausted that I almost collapse - which would be a kind of dizziness, i'd suppose - uphill sprints (real sprints, not what some people consider to be sprints) or high rep squats.

but independent of brutally hard anaerobic work, severe dehydration or heat exhaustion (or heat stroke or any of its other cousins), there is no reason to be getting dizzy.

What a small focus of detail just to disagree with me..

I brought up a BULK cuz of the fact that even I on a BULK have felt a dizzy spell here and there. On a CUT, Id almost expect it, at least more often than a BULK.

    I was comparing, not misunderstanding.

Again, she said a little dizzy...and she said when she did her cardio.

Did she weight train before the cardio?
    How did she feel then?
How severe is "a little dizzy?"

Maybe her diet is lacking some nutrients, but for a dizzy spell here and there, lasting less than a second? I am not so sure..

Than again, I am not her, so have at it hoss.

Then your bulk lacked the proper nutrients as well. It's quite simple and it's not even arguable.....if you are dizzy then your diet sucks (save diabetes).

Even on a good diet, dizzy could be an inner ear problem, medication side effect, simple dehydration etc. etc. etc.

So youve never gotten dizzy from just not breathing right? Bullshit.

She couldve been out of breath for all we know. Ive had plenty of calories in me and gotten a dizzy spell from heavy lifting, (can we say military presses) all because of a slight breathing problem.

Havent you ever gotten a dizzy spell just from getting up off the ground and raising your head faster than your body? Thats a dizzy spell.

Now if the girl is walking around and is constantly dizzy, yeah, theres no question (unless sleep is reduced too) its a matter of diet.

I was spinning my dog around today before I threw her in the pool. I got dizzy before I let her go...guess I should eat more fruit.

you have thrown off your equilibrium. Anything else? I'm bored now.
Youre bored because you cant announce the BLACK & WHITE corners anymore. There is nothing else you can say that doesnt replicate what youve already said.

Notice that I never disagreed with you. AGAIN. I was seeking further information...but I guess getting all the facts is boring.

Whoops I did disagree. Well, 50%....

Yup it bores me to entertain your ludicrous statements and questions. It's all about common sense............

Common sense? Oh, I hope youre kidding. Because shes dizzy she automatically MUST have shitty diet.

Because I eat X amount of food I will gain weight...

    BAH..

This is one of the reasons why I disagreed with you in the Diet section. There are gray areas, period. One diet may suck worse than another.

Instead of focusing on a person not agreeing with you 100% in a reply, try understanding where they are coming from...

Do you really get bored of the fact that I want to hear more about her condition?
