Stretch... read the stickies about stretching.

Stretching them every day for about 5 min helped me get over my herniated disk. My problem is more serious than yours, but most back pain come from 'other' tight muscles in the body that pull on the lower back muscles causing pain.
Id say it took 2 months worth of sessions to eliminate almost all back pain by focusing on stretching the hammies. I started noticing results after 2 weeks of stretching!

Thanks!
You could also look into SMR and maybe go to a good massage therapist. They will be able to tell where your tight, and stretch and massage you

Work on static and dynamic flexibility and do some soft tissue work as well. There are stickies covering these topics.

Stretch them one leg at a time. Keep one leg bent to as to not cause your hips to shift your sacrum out of place, IMHO.
