How often do you stretch the muscles in your back? What is your posture like?

Start out easy and slow with what you are about to deal with. Take your time and do not jerk in to or out of any of these movements. READ the page before you do the stretch or you might get hurt.

I keep the link to ExRx in my sig but really as a newcomer danny you should bookmark the site and spend many many hours studying the wealth of instructional help in there.

Get a foamroller if you can. Massages are even better and when performed by hot chicks they're almost magical.

    Stretch. Dynamic and static.

Go see a physical therapist if the pain doesn't subside.

I get that pain too, I usually just massage it myself... It is from sitting hunched over in front of the computer for too long... when your sitting try to keep good posture.

The best massager for me would happen to be my little kids, I tell them to walk on my back....it feels so good.
