    Do you do upright rows?

I have it. Don't know what it is but i hurt myself benching around 9 months ago and its still not healed. I took about 3 months off from all pressing and now i can only bench light, no overhead presses. I always wanted to get it diagnosed but alas, i have no insurance so i'm screwed.

I would seek out a specialist to take a look at it, good luck and keep us posted.

i have done alot of research on this problem. so i know what it is,so i don't think i will go to the doc to tell me what i already know. i quess i will take off benching and overhead presses for awhile until it either goes down or away.

Not really. If you can't lift heavy, then you are going to be much more likely to lose muscle mass on a cut. You need some moderate/heavy lifting in there on a cut in my opinion.

having this problem causes me some discomfort while benching. that's why i thought i would take some time away from lifting.

I broke my collarbone a few years back and I now have a small tennis ball size bump on my bone.
It only bothers me when I don't lift.....go figure.

I held off on getting mines repaired for about 5 years but it never got better. I had 2 surgeries on for both A/C joints being completely deteriorated. They shaved away between a 1/8 - 1/4 inch of my clavicle to creat space. Right shoulder was done 1st 10/06 and the left on 11/06. I'm back and even stronger in all areas of my workout, with the exception of my bench press which I don't even do anymore. I tried benching about 2 months ago and that is the only excercise that flares both shoulders up again, incline bench isn't a problem.

Did delaying the surgery make it worse?

It got to a point where I couldn't get in a good workout, to a point where preacher curls and dumbell curls hurt. When the OS compared the xrays from 06 to the one I had in 01 it was alot worse with multiple bone spurs, etc.
