Cardio when bulking

Im currently trying to gain muscle mass and so of course also trying to gain weight. I was wondering if its at all possible to do cardio? if anything i was thinking exercise bike or walking on a treadmill, something along those lines. some people have told me a little cardio wont hurt and some have told me to avoid it completely. im pretty sure ben white has said he does at least 8 hours of cardio a week and thats on top of all the crazy workouts he does. but yea what do you think?

so why do you want to do cardio?
to keep off fat?
because you like it?
health reasons?

if you're a hardgainer, i wouldn't spend much time on cardio during a bulker.
but i'll let you answer my questions before i go any further

well..basically..
i guess i plan to bulk for about 4-5 months
and to me thats a pretty long time to go without any cardio.
i dont really have any way to do circuit training
so i just feel like i need some cardio i suppose?
and yea at the same time i am worried about getting "too fat"
ive had pretty decent six-pack abs for a long time and id hate to see them completely dissapear.
makes me think itd be hard to get them back how they were, theyd never be the same as they used to be, itd take forever to get them back to how they were or close, etc..
plus i actually do enjoy cardio. i just began bulking barely a week ago really.

my normal routine used to be - wake up, have a protein shake and bananna. exercise bike for 20 minutes, and then 20 minutes on a treadmill. usually 10 mins fast paced walking and then 10 mins of running. plus playing alot of basketball. and id usually do that while wearing a couple shirts and a hoodie.

You should be fine doing at least maintenance level cardio. 2 days per week would probably suffice to largely maintain your level of cardiovascular fitness. I usually do 2-3 days of cardio per week cutting or bulking because of the health benefits and the fact that I like to be well rounded (Sounds kind of like what you have in mind). I just keep the sessions pretty intense. They never last more than 30 minutes.

The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
