    WIll someone please kick my ass back to the gym???

    I was doing SO well until tax season hit - beginning of February... then it went to hell..... then biking season started and I was just too beat to do both.

    So someone please come over here and drag my sorry butt outta bed and send me to the gym - PLEASE!

    Believe me...you DON'T want me to come over there in person and drag you into the gym! You better just get up and DO IT! I'm starting to get angry...and believe me, you don't want to see me when I'm angry. I better hear from you within a day or two that you are back in the gym, hitting the weights or there's gonna be SERIOUS trouble...grrrrrrrrrr...

    maybe this will help....(but I think gopro's approach is better! lol)

    i was crazy into the gym for 3 years (overtrained like crazy but that's another story). then i stopped. i thought it was for a little while. just taking a break.

    that damn break lasted 8 (count 'em!) years. no joke. i tried once or twice to go back but it was so depressing....my weights were down to nothing. i didn't look the part anymore....so i'd give up again.

    then this year i realized that even though i had stopped if i had gotten back into it at any time i'd be back on my way. so i shuttup already and just picked up the itty bitty weights and got the diet in order and now i'm back to where i was.

    8 wasted years! can't get 'em back and wish i had kept training through it all. but at least i'm back at it. the body can be very forgiving. people at the gym ask me how long i've been training and it's so hard to say. 3 years followed by 8 years off and 5 months back? lol

    just get to it before it stretches too long. not suggesting you'd be as bad as me and let 8 years go by but every day and every meal can put you closer to where you want to be instead of farther away. get closer!

    HEY HEY HEY. I've been working my butt off at the new job the last couple of months. I've put on two pounds. Not that bad. I've gone through slumps before, and I'll work my way out of this one. No excuses though. We've just been slacking. It's not like we're not exercising though, because we're still getting in three hard mountain bike rides each week.

    BTW, giving gorpo our home phone number ain't that bad an idea....

    Well, MBC and I got to the gym three times this week. I'll be back up to speed in no time. What a difference waking up at 5:30 as opposed to 4:45 makes.

    I'm kind of worried because I see a huge tidal wave of office work rolling towards me in the next couple of months.

    IR I just figured out about the pedals (I think) She won them and you want them right? You know that all pedals have a break in period, so you, being the gentleman should offer to break them in for her which would take about 6 months to a year. After that she won't want them because they would be your hand me downs.

    P.S. If you both don't like them I'll gladly pay the shipping to my house
