Bulking during weight loss

I am in the process of losing quite a bit of weight (approx. 100lbs)utilizing a low carb approach. Since I am running a calorie deficit for the weight my main concern is maintaining the lean mass during the weight loss and any lean mass gained is icing on the cake(gee I miss cakes). Should I be following a mass routine like the IronMag mass routine or up my reps from the 6-8 rep range to 10-12 or higher?. Would more volume be called for?
I appreciate your help.

Don't change your routine between cuts and bulks.

A routine that builds when gaining will aid to retain when cutting.

I agree wit TCD
Eat to lose fat.
Lift to gain muscle.
Keep the reps between 8-12
