skull crushers

does anyone know of an exercise that I can do that has the same effect as a skull crusher with a smith machine? I dont have a free weight barbell, but I was told this was a good exercise. Thanks

Close grip bench, dips, close grip military press (mwah), pushdowns (mwah).

You can do triceps extensions with your body weight though, or with dumbells.

Id rather do close grip pushups than touch a smith machine. Probably better for you at that.

Agreed, I found CG diamond pushups really effective as a tricep exersice.
