once a week?
alright well i just started working out again after about 3 months. i was planning on going back to my old routine:
Monday - back and biceps Tuesday - Cardio and abdominals Wednsday - chest and triceps Thursday - cardio and abdominals Friday - Legs I was wondering if working out these body parts once a week was good enough to build muscle. I mean i know people who work there chest every other day or biceps every two days. is that good? they say they keep getting stronger but i always thought working the same muscle group without enough rest was bad. so now i'm starting to think that working out each group once a week will get me no where...am i right or will i see progress? P.S - sorry if there are typing errors. i'm a highschooler and i talk on aim and txt message and stuff |

You'll have to find what ratio of intensity, volume and frequency works for you. Generally speaking, if one goes up, one (or two) has to go down so you won't overtrain.
You could make a 1/week frequency program. The volume would probably be pretty high. |
