    First week back

I took 3 weeks off recently due to an x-ray I had that I had to get an incision, and also a trip to Vegas (Mr. Olympia)...This whole week I've been so shaky on every exercise...I usually do 125lb db's on flat bench, and I was shaking on 90's...It looked like I was having a seizure. Then I did 85lb db's on incline and I was shaking like a mad man...Why did this happen, and how long will it take for me to get back to normal?

Also do you guys think this was more caused from taking 3 weeks off, or not taking creatine for 3 weeks (I always do)?

My chest is beyond sore, so I guess that's a good sign.

Was it a bad idea to go really heavy my first week back? OR does it not make a big difference?

You probably shouldn't have tried to pick off exactly where you left off. The strength that you lost over the few weeks will come back quickly most likely. I experience the same stuff whenever I take a break, even for only 1 week.

No gym for home, work out floor with 30, but is it for 20 like 30 lb when you no lift it to be for men, for 30 lbs instead? or half is 10 for 20 pounds?

Everyone is different. I've taken a month off from an injury and came back to do a PR. Some people can take a month off and lose a lot. Regardless of where you fit in, don't sweat it, after a few weeks, you'll be back at your PRs.

Sorry to sound like an idiot...But what does PR stand for?

I didn't start at where I left off...I did about 10-25lbs less on everything...Weird thing is although weaker, I look pretty good (more ripped, and same size) which is weird since I was eating tons of crap for days on end.

It stand for "Personal Record". It's the most weight on a particular exercise that you've ever used.

You must have some good genetics. Don't jinx it.
