Bulking has more to do with your diet than training, but theres a lot more to any training program than just the split.

Saying any sort of a split is better for anything is impossible to say because the other varibles arent known.

Well then in detail i eat 3000-4500cals a day. Eat right most of the time. I supplement Creatine and whey protein. my goal is to bulk until April 16 and then cut for 6 weeks. during my bulk i hope to gain anywhere from 10-20 lbs. My current stats and goals are as follows

    weight - 182/ goal - 195-200
    bench max - 185? (haven't maxed in a long time)/ goal - 225
    Squat max - 275 / goal - 350
    Deadlift - 250/ goal - 305
    Hang clean max - 165? (haven't maxed on these ever)/ goal - 185
    Height - 6'2/ goal - 6'3
    Age - 14

Now what I'm wondering is since i have the time should i go for the 5-day split or will the 4-day split be efficient. Also, i was considering doing something like this...
    4-day split - 2 weeks
    5-day split - 2 weeks
and so on. Will that help or hurt me in anyway?
Also, when is the best time to supplement creatine monohydrate?

    thanks guys,
    damon.

    1. Regardless of what split you do; to bulk you need to eat more calories than you burn.

    2. You are only 14; so you will grow from almost any split/exercise selection/repetition range/rest period or anything else you can vary.

    3. To begin with you should keep it simple. Base your program around squats, dead lifts, bench presses, chin ups, military presses, rows, dips, ie, nothing too fancy. Do not even bother with isolation work, viz, bicep curls and the like. See the training guides above

    4. Aim for repetition ranges from 12-15; and come up with something that allows you at least two days rest per week.

How about you start with something basic and build a solid foundation before trying some hardcore program based around short heavy sets?

oh i forgot to mention that I've been training since i was 12 with weights, I stuck to an upper-lower split for those years, but now I'm looking for something more advanced that's why I asked what everybody's thoughts were on MAX-OT.
    thanks,
