    training question

I met someone at a christmas party last night that claimed he was a personal trainer. He was telling me that I should workout for 16 weeks then go back to what I was lifting 8 weeks ago and start over.So basically every 16 weeks back up to the weight and reps I was doing 8 weeks before. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Could be time to read up on the stickies on that one mate -

As a rule, if people offer me 'advice' outside of this forum or a professional setting, its likely not worth much - most experts wouldnt offer advice on training until they have properly assessed your status and needs.
