I'd be interested to hear what the PTs on here have to say about that - I wasnt sure you could isolate the different parts of the pecs in that way
I'm 34 - when am I officially an old fart?

This is where I stopped reading --> "You can lift heavy on the bench press and develop enormous pecs. You’ll get a bad case of man-boobs (or as one client of mine termed it, “fat-boy titties”) but hey, you got size and strength, right?"

"Man-Boobs" WTF, is this guy retarded?

Yeah, sure I'll deposit fat on my pecs and develop gyno symptoms from heavy benching. What a moron.

It is true in a sense. However, I don't like bench pressing like that; the tradeoff is more shoulder wear and tear.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

It's true. Powerlifting bench presses are vastly overrated as a pec exercise, but neck presses are vastly underrated as a wreaker of havoc on the shoulders. Also, a lot of people don't see this goes for dumbells too. That wide pec-stretching grip you're using is killing your shoulders (and putting lots of muscle on your chest).
