Question training split

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out a good training split for my workouts. Since I'm in a wheelchair it's kinda hard to keep switching from bench to bench during a workout, so I want your opinion on this .
This is what I am going to try to stick with since it envolves the least amount of me getting my ass off my benches in the basement.
Day 1- Arms
Day 2-back, shoulders
Day 3- Chest
Is this totally out of the question or is it possible to stick with this and still be properly trainig my different muscle groups??

Thanks !!

Your split looks fine, but I can't really say if you are properly training the different muscle groups without knowing what exercises you do.

Well, you might want to do a push/pull split because on your current routine, you would be working your triceps three times a week o consecutive days. Here's what I suggest:

Day 1:
Chest/Triceps

Day 2:
Back/Biceps

Day 3:
Shoulders/Traps

I don't know what kind of equipment you have in your basement, but you should be able to get a good workout with a bench and a set of free weights.

It looks like this question is for moderators only! lol

A push/pull routine like cutemonkey has given you, is a way to go but then it might not work for you either. You'll just have to experiment a little to see what is best for you. What does a cutemonkey know anyways besides being cute, but that's another story. lol

I would however stick with all free weight exercises for now. This site gives you written instructions and animated demonstrations of most exercises you will find in a gym:
http://gymamerica.com/gymamerica/exe...,3124,,00.html

Just click on the exercise that you are interested in. To cut down your transfers from bench to bench, use an adjustable bench so if you want to do something that is incline or flat, it is all right there. Good luck to you and let me know how it works out!

thanks for all your opinions guys! I do have another question for all of you though.
Is it ok to work out twice in day?? The problem is that today it took me a long time to work my biceps but I wanted to do my back on the same day, I was going to work my back tonight so that I get both body parts in on the same day. I have a feeling that it is not good to work out twice in a day so I want to hear what you guys have to say.

Peace!

Yes, it's okay to do a split. Most people don't have time for this, typically pro bodybuilders use them.
An example would be back in the morning, biceps in the evening.

I'd go with the routine Cutemonkey gave.
You can do almost all the exercises with DB so your not movin plates around so much.

Yeah, its ok to do a morning/evening split. Try to do the "bigger" muscle early in the day though, i.e. back in the AM, bi's in the PM.
