Lossed weight since being ill

Hi chaps,

Just a quick question. I'd been working out for a year or so and had gained a lot of muscle shape and was pleased with the results. However, i've been i'll for a month and so couldn't get to the gym. I measured myself yesterday and seem to have gone back to the same shape as i was last summer 8 months ago. Surely it's not going to take me another 8 months to get back to how i was a month ago? is there going to be a different approach to getting back into to training now too?

Thanks

Tom

One thing you have on your side here Chilli is 'muscle memory' and also your increased test levels from working out in the past

ive had the exact same problem, ive got a stomach bug started thowing up, i was around 160 i went down to 153 i hit the gym and my strength was still the same, now for mass you maybe just lost some water weight and glycogen stored in muscles, you should be able to gain that easily once you get back into training.

Muscle memory should have you back to where you were before in no time. It sucks, but nothing to worry about.

You'll swell back up nicely thanks to muscle memory. Now, get your butt back in the gym

Thanks guys!!

I was starting to struggle with motivation - had visions of me spending the next year in the gym to get to the same size i was. Had a good work out last night to get back into it, feel great today, i have the same feeling you get after your very first work out!
