Question At what age did everyone start training?

I started my sophmore year in highschool, so that would make me 15-16 i guess. Butt hen from the ages of 18-21 I never really took it serious again, but now I am back in it and working harder than ever. I am 21 now. I am just curious to see how old people were when they staryted and how long they have been going, thanks

strength trained from ages 13-27. took 4 years off due to a car accident and I've been back training for hypertrophy since Nov 2000, I'm now 33.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

I was 11, wasn't able to get my hands on alot of books at the time though I wanted a weight set when I was in 3rd grade, but my dad was not as excited about it at the time. One of my friends dad was a bodybuilder, and our barber was a national competitor as was his wife, so I had early exposure to "freaks".

I started training seriously at the beginning of the year. Before that, I was mostly into MTBing and considered that my hobby/exercise. Other than being sidelined due to foot surgery (to repair something I damaged MTBing) for a couple of months I'm back to the iron.

I'd say i started in junior high trying to be like my older brother but really didn't get serious until i turned 21 and started hitting the bar scene . I'm 28 now . There have been times of long layoffs in between .

I trained in university but not consistently. I guess my first foray into a gym was about 6 years ago. When I decided I wanted to do this for a living it was about 2.5 years ago and I've been training seriously ever since (minor layoffs due to injury sometimes).

Been active all my life, played field hockey in HS. Took up Inline Speed Skating at the age of 24. Started bodybuilding at 27. And I'm 29 now.
Bodybuilding isn't everything, it's just that being small, weak, and puny REALLY sucks!!
