    incline bench

    hw much of an incline hsould i put the bench to when doing this?

    I'll never understand the fixation people have on bench, bicep isolation and lack of interest in lower body. So I can't help.

    Exactly. The worst thing is that it's so repetitive to tell people that lower body workouts are soooo important, and that it's much better to stick to compound lifts, and biceps curls for beginners are pretty useless, ... yawn, you know the rest.

    To be honest, the 45 degrees was a rough estimate, I think it depends on a few factors, i imagine the greater the incline, the greater the shoulders are used in the lift. My bench at home prolly doesnt go any higher than 25 degrees however.

    wtf r u talking about? number one its becaue girls like upper body muc more. 2 i do work my lower body

    It doesn't matter. Higher incline => more shoulders, less pec work.

    I recently learned that the hard way, I was doing too much incline bench and my shoulders where getting overtrained. Now I concentrate more on just db flat benching and Ill throw some incline once in a while.
