what ever one builds on the most mass. thats a huge jump from 145 to 189. my advice is try to go up to 160 or 171 first so you know how to handle the stronger guys when you wrestle.

I wrestle 171 myself, I'm ranked 14th in WV, which isn't bad but not great, I'm 21-10 right now, anyways, at 171 there's still some quick guys like myself, I'm more of a leaner 171 and at 6'0 I'm taller than just about everyone of them, most of the guys are 5'7''ish and short and stocky. and theres some beasts out there and some easy matches, anyways dont go up that far you wont put on enough muscle, id go with 160 if i were you.

here's a simple, obvious quesstion: Why don't you work on improving your technique?
What did you say your stats are? 6'1", 160-ish? You are fairly tall and lanky. learn yo use that to your advantage.

like keenan said at 171 there are some beast id just work on technique and stay at 152 or 160. im one of the short stocky guys for 171 at 5'7 and im quck as hell you wouldnt wanna wrestle a guy thats 5'7ish 171 thats alot stronger then you and quicker its just not fun. i had to wrestle a 160 pounder last year named justin zeerip he holds the state record up here for pins and never lost in high school he was so quick and strong it was a joke he pinned my ass in less then 30 seconds. just get faster and stay down to 152 or 160 you dont wanna wrestle kids like that believe me its not fun

A lot of kids fall in the perfect position for the crossface cradle that's why I like it so much, and not to many people do it from what I've experienced, but legs aren't something I like to do, just not me you know....I'm more of a up top kinda guy, I work good from the power half and half down on the ground, that and the tight waist arm chop, my fav moves. But 71's tough even for me man, I'm about average sized myself, but I lift a lot. So that helps.

Actually it sounds like Witch has gone down.
