Eat. Seriously. You may THINK you eat a lot, but you don't.

Eat every 2 hours, even if you aren't hungry.

these guys are right, ya gotta eat big to get big... however, you have to pay attention to what you eat. Do yourself a favor and read through the stickies in the Diet & Nutrition forum. you'll find the information you need.

    Eat, eat, eat.

If you think you ate alot one day, eat some more. Then do it all over again.

When you see food, eat it. Thats what I did when I used to weight 155. I got up to 185 then dropped down to 175.

Yup eat as though your life depended on it. Eat until your full, then eat some more. As mentioned, check out the stickies in the D&N forum b/c you shouldn't eat anything. You're skinny and can get away with more stuff than us fat guys, but building proper dietary habits is better now than later.

Most importantly, just eat. I know skinny guys who think they eat a lot, but have no idea what eating really means. I did a fitday journal for this guy at work, who wants to gain weight. He came out to 5000kcals for the day and started bragging how he eats a lot of kcals. Well i looked over his day and saw that he ate like 2000kcals worth of bacon and butter fat for breakfast. I then told him that either A) it was a freaky day where he ate a bunch of fat, take that away and he's not really eating that much and B) If he does eat that much fat daily, he's gonna have a heart attack by the time he's forty.

I don't remember exactly, but i remembered being very surprised when i saw the daily cals. I thought the guy must be the ultimate hard gainer, and was really about to admit that he must have it really hard. Then upon inspection i found that if i took away his bacon and butter in the morning his cal's weren't really that high, like 2900 and change. It was either a freak occurrence or the guy is full of shit, either way i can't be bothered with that kinda stuff, i gave him all the tools he needs to gain some weight the rest is on him.

Yes once again you need to eat.

In terms of nutrition, try to eat 5-7 times per day. It might sound like a lot but once your body get used to it you will be packing it on. Now Obviously you can't eat anything, I dont mean KFC, I mean whole foods, such as plenty or yes you guessed it meat, chicken breast etc. Pasta, rice potatoes, wholegrains should all be staples to your diet, and plenty of veg.

For example, for breakfast you can have a bowl of oatmeal with milk, 6 egg whites, and a fruit juice. A lunch or dinner meal might be a potato with a bowl of pasta, chicken breast and a salad, with a tblsp of olive oil.

Try also protein weight gainers and add fruit, in between main meals, because obviously making 7 meals per day can be a little tedious.

As for cardio, limit it to maybe 2 sessions per week, you might even want to stop and see what happen.

I would recommend weights training around 3-4 times per week no more, and train with heavier weights in the lower rep range. Plenty of advice weight gain programs can be found around.

    cheers.
